Homemade spaghetti sauce from a jar

One jar of your spaghettifavorite spaghetti sauce (I like Prego)
3 cloves of garlic paste from the Gourmet Grater
¼ cup of carrot pulp from your grater (this cuts the acidity and adds a natural sweetness)
1 vine ripe tomatoe cut in pieces
¼ cup olive oil
1 cup chopped mushrooms

In a sauté pan, heat up oil. Add mushrooms and tomatoes. Cook for a few minutes. Add garlic and carrot, cook for one more minute. Lastly, add sauce, and simmer on low for 5 minutes. Call it homemade!!

Serve over pasta and have a Gourmet Grater with a wedge of Romano, Asiago, or Parmesan cheese on top. Remember keep the grater dry for cheese, and it helps to let the cheese “air out” a few minutes while you finish cooking.
